The USC represents the top of the range in terms of anti-scratch and antistatic properties, even among the treatments with fluorine technology. The susceptibility to abrasion and deterioration of the treatment is minimized and combined with very high hydrophobic, oleophobic and antistatic capacities: halos, stains and dust are minimized and easy to remove.
The lenses acquire superior scratch resistance thanks to the special fluorine layer that reduces friction on the surface of the lens. This happens because, compared to other treatments, the density of molecules deposited on the surface is greater.
The spaces between the different layers of the treatment are also optimized and minimized, ensuring a longer lifespan of the coating.
