ESC (Eternal Skin Coat) is a coating blocking not only 100% of UV-rays but also blocking near infrared rays thus protecting the eyes and the skin around the eyes. Near-infrared rays are (760nm – 1400nm rays) reach deep into the skin causing aging effects such as wrinkles and sagging of the skin.
The ratio of near-infrared rays contained within the sunlight is 50% whereas the 10% are UV-rays and 40% are visible rays. Also we now understand that the near-infrared rays reaches deeper than the UV-rays into the skin, down to the true skin and more over to the muscles.

P-UV offers complete 360° UV protection. This treatment is applied to the back side of the lens, allowing to shield not only 100% of the UV rays that hits the front side of the lens, but also 95% of those that would normally be reflected by the internal surface. In conditions where sunlight comes from behind us, traditional anti-reflective treatments reflect part of the UV rays directly into our eyes. P-UV prevents this from happening by protecting us from UV rays from whatever direction they come from.
